We performed asbestos abatement through the process of glove bagging on 2 separate pipes to determine their circumference. We also performed asbestos abatement on 2 pump covers. For, this abatement we constructed a full negative pressure containment with a 3 stage decontamination facility for ingress and egress. We removed the covers, cleaned them, and then replaced the insulation with new none asbestos insulation. Once we were done we had an independent industrial hygienist do PCM air samples for clearance. When clearance was gained we torn down our containment and did a final cleaning of the area.
