Insurance Requirements:
All subcontractors doing work for SanDow Construction, Inc. are required to have the following insurance coverage:
Comprehensive General Liability including Blanket Contractual Liability:

  • • $1,000,000.00 combined Single Limit for bodily injury and property damage.
  • • $2,000,000.00 Aggregate per project or location.
  • • Contractor shall be added as additional insured. Policy shall NOT contain fungi or bacterial agent exclusion and shall so state on Certificate of Insurance.

Automotive Liability (Owned, leased and non-owned vehicles):

  • • $1,000,000.00 Combined Single Limit for bodily injury and property damage.

Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Coverage:

  • • Statutory Workers Compensation coverage
  • • Employers Liability – $1,000,000.00 each accident/ $1,000,000.00 each employee/ $1,000,000.00 policy limit

Umbrella Liability Coverage Limit of

  • • Liability: $2 million

All Policies shall have:

  • • Thirty (30) day notice of cancellation.
  • • Such insurance Certificates shall be written by companies acceptable to Contractor.
  • • Certificates of Insurance shall be furnished before starting Work.
  • • Additional Insured – Subcontractor shall have all policies, except Workers’ Compensation, endorsed to name Contractor as an Additional Insured with respect to the work to be performed by the Subcontractor. The insurance for additional insureds shall be as broad as the coverage provided for the named insured subcontractor. It shall apply as prima1y insurance before any other insurance or self-insurance, including any deductible, maintained by or provided to, the additional insured.
  • A Waiver of Subrogation in favor of SanDow Construction, Inc. is required. The Subcontractor shall waive all rights against the Contractor and the other Additional Insureds for the recove1y of damages to the extent these damages are covered by any of the policies of insurance maintained pursuant to the Subcontract.
